I went to nursing school at Ball State University and I graduated from the midwife program at Frontier Nursing University.

How long have you been practicing?
I was a labor and delivery nurse for more than four years before deciding to become a midwife.

What do you love most about your job?
I love helping women become mothers and realizing just how strong they can be!

I really like being in labor and delivery.

What are your personal interests?
I like to bake, read and go to the gym. I like traveling and amusement parks.

I attended the The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed my residency at Ohio State and Nationwide Children's Hospital.

I've been practicing for five years. I am board certified in both pediatrics and internal medicine, allowing me to care for patients of all ages.

What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to care for the entire family, and sometimes extended family as well!

Preventative healthcare and pediatrics

I enjoy speneding time outdoors with my husband and four children.

Working with families, watching children develop over time and seeing their personalities evolve.

Working with children of all ages but I do like to work with premature infants as I have a NICU and PICU background.

What are your personal interests?
Spending time with my family, reading, photography and travel.

Is there anything else you would like patients to know about you, professionally or personally?
I am retired military. My family and I have lived all over the world and enjoy experiencing different cultures. I have very much learned there are many ways to almost anything (as long as it is safe) and that family is the most important link to a healthy mind, body and spirit.

Childbirth Center Staff

Our expert team of kind, compassionate nurses is dedicated to providing high quality care during labor, delivery and recovery, and offering postpartum and newborn education and support to every patient and family.

The Childbirth Center team includes more than 20 regularly staffed registered nurses, a third of which have more than 20 years of OB experience. Each Childbirth Center nurse is NRP, CPR and ACLS certified and is trained to provide labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum and couplet care, as well as breastfeeding support.
