Yes. Your healthcare privacy is very important to us. Access to information is controlled through secure access codes, personal IDs and passwords. Each person controls their password, and the account can’t be accessed without that password. All MyChart messaging is done while you are securely logged in. For additional security, users can enable two-factor authentication.
Parents and caregivers can access and manage their loved one’s personal and family health information online by submitting a MyChart proxy access form. Proxy access to the patient portal means that an authorized individual, such as a family caregiver, a home health aide, a parent or guardian, an adult child, or a healthcare power of attorney, may view an individual’s patient portal.

Parent or Legal Guardian Proxy Request
If you are 18 years of age or older and would like another adult to access your medical information contained in MyChart, then you, as the patient, should complete this form. If you are 13-17 years old, you may only request proxy access for a parent or legal guardian, and you should complete the form below.

Printable patient Request for Mercer Health MyChart Proxy AccessLog on to your MyChart account and click “Menu.” Under “Find Care” select the “Urgent Care” option. If your location services are enabled, you can view the current wait time at the Mercer Health Emergency Department or “Reserve a time” at Mercer Health Urgent Care at Celina.
Log on to your MyChart account and click “Menu”. Enter “Personal” in the search bar and click the “Personal Information” option. From here you can update your contact information such as home address, email, phone number, etc.
Yes, appointment reminders are sent automatically. You can select where to receive notifications in your Communication Preferences. Options include getting notifications sent to you by email or to your mobile device. Please be aware that notifications can be sent overnight. You can set quiet hours or turn off sound to specific app notifications in your mobile device settings.
In addition to appointment reminders, MyChart sends notifications for other information related to your medical care such as new test results, new bill or estimate, messages from your provider and more. Some alerts can be turned off in your Communication Preferences. Others containing important information can’t be turned off. Push notifications for mobile devices can be turned off in your phone settings.
