Rehabilitation Services

During your stay it is important that you maintain your strength, regain any function you have lost, address your pain, and ensure are able to return home safely. Therapy services will provide you with an evaluation by a skilled therapist if appropriate to assess your strength, function, safety, mental cognition, speech and swallowing and much more.

Skilled therapies, including physical, occupational and speech can be provided from the comfort of your home with physician orders through Mercer Health Home Care. This will include helping to identify ways to safely remain in the home and optimizing your ability to care for yourself. It also provides an opportunity for the patient to be near family and friends while he or she recovers from illness or surgical procedures.

Physical, occupational and speech therapy services are offered on an outpatient basis through Community Sports and Therapy Center at three locations: in Coldwater at Mercer County Community Hospital, in Celina at the Galleria Campus and in Ft. Recovery at Mercer Health Medical Group at Ft. Recovery.
