Efficient care and attention for an emergency patient are among our most important services. Our fully equipped Emergency Department is staffed 24 hours a day by a physician and nursing staff. Immediate care and attention are given to emergencies ranging from heart attacks to minor scrapes and bruises.

Statistics show one in five women and one in 71 men will be affected by sexual violence at some point in their lives. We can help!
At Mercer Health, we have six trained SANE registered nurses (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners). SANE nurses are accredited by the International Association of Forensic Nurses and meet the medical-legal needs of those who have been affected by sexual violence and can perform medical-legal and forensic evaluation following sexual violence or assault.
It is important as the community’s healthcare provider that we lead prevention initiatives and provide the appropriate services needed. Furthermore, a SART team (Sexual Assault Response Team) comprised of local health and law enforcement agencies was established in 2015 with a mission to utilize a multidisciplinary approach to assist victims on their journey to health and healing while working together to hold offenders accountable and acting as agents of change through preventable education. The group provides complete privacy to individuals recognizing that they are accountable to the individuals and the communities that they support.”
