Occupational Health ServicesAdam Alig, Certified Nurse Practitioner at Mercer Health Occupational Health & Wellness, has completed the Occupational Safety and Hazard Association (OSHA) 30-Hour Outreach Safety Training Program. This specific OSHA training focuses on the elements of a workplace safety and health program as well as teaches the potential of specific job hazards and how to prevent them from happening.
Adam Alig has been actively involved with occupational health since 2020. He works with local employers to improve the overall health of employees so they can perform their jobs safely. Coupled with on-site company tours and this new training, Adam is better equipped to provide higher level insight and suggestions to companies looking to enhance their health and safety programs.
Mercer Health’s Occupational Health program provides a wide range of services to local employers promoting health and safety. Services include drug screenings and physicals, OSHA required surveillance exams such as respiratory clearance, fit testing and audiometric screenings, injury care, and wellness and prevention services such as health fairs, educational sessions, and immunizations. Occupational Health clinics are located in Celina and Ft. Recovery and services can also be brought onsite to employers. Mercer Health currently works with more than 250 local employers.
