Outpatient Center

Our Outpatient Center, conveniently located on the first floor of the Sanderell Family West Wing at Mercer County Community Hospital, provides specialty outpatient care services for patients of all ages and a range of conditions. Referrals for care are required and appointments are scheduled through your referring physician. Specialty Outpatient Nursing Services provided within our Outpatient Center include:

Pain Management

Patients who suffer from chronic pain, including conditions such as sciatica, migraines, back pain and more, may benefit from interventional pain management services. A physician referral is required for evaluation—if you are struggling with chronic pain, discuss a referral to the Mercer Health Pain Management Center with your primary care provider.

Chemotherapy & Other Cancer Treatments

Mercer Health provides chemotherapy and other adjunct cancer treatments. Included in our cancer treatments are bladder instillations, intravenous chemotherapy, and Zometa, Calcium, Magnesium, Procrit, Neupogen, Leukine and Neulasta treatments.

Coagulation Clinic

Patients who are prescribed anticoagulation medications, including warfarin (Coumadin), on an outpatient basis, may require extra monitoring.  Mercer Health’s Outpatient Center will collaborate with your physician to help provide comprehensive oversight of your care including fingerstick PT/INRs and management of oral anticoagulation therapy.
