"I simply cannot speak high enough of the Mercer Health Childbirth Center. As a first-time mom my nerves were inevitably high as I was entering through the doors of the facility. But, every single staff member I encountered was phenomenal. The nurses were professional, empathetic, knowledgeable, and so helpful through the entire laboring process. Mikayla was my main nurse through my labor, and I truly couldn’t have done it without her. She was patient yet encouraging. Her calm demeanor definitely was appreciated when things started picking up rather quickly. I also had some amazing night shift nurses including Carly, whom helped me survive my first night postpartum and navigating everything that comes with it. Kat was also super helpful and very easy to get along with! There were countless other nurses whom I did not catch the name of that I also cannot thank enough for the amazing care they provided us. Nicole, the lactation consultant, was and still is a wealth of knowledge. My breastfeeding journey has been very successful thanks to all of her help! I had the privilege of having Dr. Torres not only deliver my baby but was also my OB for the entirety of my pregnancy. She was so amazing throughout the pregnancy. She is kind, very thorough, and knowledgeable. Dr. Torres was always willing to answer any questions or concerns I had in great detail. The nurses that work in Dr. Torres’s office also deserve great praise; they were always a joy to talk to and see during appointments. All in all, I had a great experience at Mercer Health and know I will be in excellent hands for God willing any future pregnancies."
