"A few years ago, my daughter had her first surgery here at Mercer Health and had a rough time waking up from the anesthesia. I expressed these concerns with Tara prior to surgery this time around, and she reassured me that the surgery team and herself would take great care of her. When my daughter's surgery was completed and they called me back to the recovery room, the first site I saw was Tara going the extra mile by sitting in the rocking chair holding my child (who was thrashing around) and trying to calm her. After I sat down and began holding my daughter, Tara ordered some additional medications without hesitation. Within a few minutes, my daughter was calm and resting comfortably, and the rest of her stay went very well. I cannot express enough how incredibly appreciative I am for the exceptional care that Tara gave! She truly went above and beyond!"
