Nora was transferred to another facility for specialized care related to a kidney infection and abscess, and she got to experience the difference in care firsthand. At the other facility, she literally said, “Take me back to Coldwater! I was treated like a princess there!” She talked about how at Mercer Health someone was always there to help her, how they brought her a warm blanket, and how they made sure her pain was controlled. Obviously, we understood that the other facility had much sicker patients to care for, but the compassion, attentiveness, and comfort your ER team provided really stood out. It made a lasting impression on both of us!”
