Dr. Edward Hosbach, primary care provider at Mercer Health, was recently inducted as the new president of the Ohio Osteopathic Association (OOA). The formal installation took place during the recent Ohio Osteopathic Symposium in Columbus.

Dr. Hosbach has long been an active member of the OOA, advocating for Ohio’s 8,900 licensed osteopathic physicians. His dedication to advancing osteopathic medicine and fostering professional development within the field has been widely recognized. In June 2022, the Ohio American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, an affiliate of the OOA, honored Dr. Hosbach with the Distinguished Service Award for his outstanding contributions.

Locally, Dr. Hosbach cares for patients at two Mercer Health Medical Group offices, located in Ft. Recovery and St. Henry. In addition, Dr. Hosbach has served as Chief Medical Officer for EverHeart Hospice, team doctor for Fort Recovery and St. Henry high schools, and is a past board member for the Mercer County Health District.
