A dedication ceremony was held at The Chapel at Mercer Health on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. This new and beautifully decorated space was made possible by the generous donation of Dr. Mark Brown in honor of his parents, Reverend James Brown and (soon to be Reverend) Patricia Brown.

Lisa Klenke, CEO gave a history and the need for the New Chapel followed by a dedication, blessing and prayer by the members of the Brown family.

“Our hope for this beautiful and peaceful space is that it be a place of calm for those who are entering into a storm,” said Reverend Brown.

The Chapel at Mercer Health is located near the East entrance of the hospital. It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for use by patients and their families.
