Mercer Health Medical Group (MHMG) is a network of offices owned and operated by Mercer Health, providing primary care and specialty services to the community. Specialties include OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Pulmonology and Urology. Mercer Health Medical Group also has a team providing care in long-term centers throughout the Mercer County and surrounding areas.

Dr. Paul L. Quinter grew up on his family’s farm in Minster, the youngest of four siblings. He decided to become a doctor after a life-changing incident when he was a teenager. He graduated from Minster High School in 1966, then earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and his medical degree from The Ohio State University.
Donald J. Schwieterman, M.D., was a physician in Maria Stein for more than 37 years. Dr. Schwieterman’s devotion to his patients and personal interest in their lives made him a revered figure in the community. His interest in the medical profession was formed during his childhood, when his family lived in an apartment directly above his father Urban’s pharmacy, Schwieterman’s Drug Store, in New Bremen.
Robert W. Albers, M.D. was born and raised in Ft. Loramie, Ohio. His interest in medicine started after encouragement from his oldest brother, one of five siblings. Dr. Albers earned an undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Dayton and graduated from the University of Cincinnati Medical School in 1959.
Donal R. Fox, MD a Cincinnati native, attended the University of Chattanooga for two years on a football scholarship until he was drafted into the Army Medical Corp during World War II. Returning home, Dr. Fox received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and went on to graduate from Temple University Medical School in Philadelphia.
