Mercer Health will once again offer free prostate screenings during the month of September. The screening clinic, provided by local urologist Dr. Scott Cohen and Bill Mulholland, CNP, is scheduled for Tuesday, September 18, 8:00 – 11:00 a.m. and Thursday, September 20, 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. at the Community Medical Center in Celina.
The screening clinic is open to men age 55 to 75 who do not have an established urology provider and who do not have a personal history of prostate cancer. The prostate cancer screening includes a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test and a digital rectal exam (DRE).
Screenings are by appointment only. For more information or to register, please call 567-890-7102. A limited number of appointments are available. Men with a family history of prostate cancer and those between the ages of 55 and 75 will be given priority.
