Mercer Health has taken many additional actions due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). See below.
THE HOSPITALITY GIFT SHOP
The Hospitality Gift Shop at Mercer Health’s Mercer County Community Hospital is closed until further notice.
Mercer Health Medical Group offices including primary care, pediatrics, OB/GYN and others are offering phone visits as appropriate. The office will meet insurance requirements and will be billed normally. If you have an appointment that your provider feels can be done over the phone, the office will call you regarding the process. In addition, in some cases, as appropriate, patients can consider postponing appointments. For those patients that do have a face-to-face appointment, they will be asked to check-in and then return to their car until the provider is ready to see them.
DRIVE-THRU TESTING CENTER
Mercer Health and Mercer County Health District have developed a COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Drive-Thru Testing Center at the Mercer County Fairgrounds. The Drive-Thru Testing Center will open on Wednesday, March 18th at 9 a.m. Drive-thru testing is a safer way to test for COVID-19 (Coronavirus) by minimizing exposures in physician offices, urgent care and the emergency department. The drive-thru model is being used throughout the nation. Details regarding the required order from a medical professional for testing, hours and more will be released soon.
