The first baby of 2020 was born at Mercer County Community Hospital on Wednesday, January 1. Elise Tobe was born at 8:44 p.m., weighing 8 pounds and measuring 19.5 inches. Elise is the daughter of Dustin and Dr. Alicia Tobe of Coldwater.

The family received a blanket and a $100 gift certificate to the Celina-Mercer County Chamber of Commerce among other gifts.
