The Medical, Educational and Development (MED) Foundation of Mercer Health awarded Jack Hartings and Chris Mohler, co-chairs for the Building on a Promise campaign, the 2018 Outstanding Friends of the Year award at the annual Friends of the MED Foundation dinner on January 27, 2019.
“Mr. Jack Hartings and Mr. Chris Mohler graciously accepted the request to be co-chairs for the multi-million dollar campaign to support the Sanderell Family West Wing at Mercer County Community Hospital,” Deb Hemmelgarn, Director of the MED Foundation, said. “Jack and Chris’s tremendous amount of dedication, relentless conviction, commitment and perseverance to not only the campaign and the MED Foundation, but the entire Mercer Health organization attributed to the success of the Building on a Promise Campaign.”
After dinner, Lisa Klenke, Mercer Health CEO, provided an organization update and George Boyles, Mercer Health Senior Vice President and CFO, addressed the audience with a farewell message and thanked the Friends of the Foundation for their support during his tenure at Mercer Health.
John Yoder, President of the MED Foundation Board of Directors, also shared an overview of the activities of the MED Foundation over the past year including the Charity Ball, the Esmonde-Homan Memorial Golf Outing, the scholarships awarded from funds generated at the golf outing and the growth of the foundation over the past year.
